Your game account lets you play. Your wallet connects you to the blockchain features. Set it up when you are ready to use NFTs or the related services.
You can start with a Trial Hero before connecting a wallet.

Your account and wallet have different roles
Your game account holds your gameplay progress. A wallet lets you control a blockchain address and approve supported blockchain actions. A wallet does not contain every piece of your game data, and connecting one does not turn a Trial Hero into an NFT.
EXTOCIUM uses BNB Smart Chain for its blockchain services. MetaMask and Trust Wallet are the wallet options presented by the game’s connection flow.
Blockchain words you will meet
A blockchain is a shared record of transactions. Your wallet manages the keys that let you act for an address; the blockchain records the assets and their ownership.
- Address: the public receiving address associated with your wallet.
- Transaction: an action submitted to the network, identified by a transaction hash.
- Gas: the network processing fee. On BNB Smart Chain, it is paid in BNB; check the fee in your wallet before confirming.
- Token: interchangeable units, such as XTO.
- NFT: a token with a particular ID, such as an eligible Hero or equipment NFT.
- Smart contract: the blockchain program that defines the token or NFT’s rules.
BNB Smart Chain supports these contracts and compatible wallets. The network an asset belongs to matters: a similarly named token on another network is not automatically the asset used by EXTOCIUM.
Choose your address carefully
EXTOCIUM links one game account to one wallet address. An address already linked to another account cannot be used to link a second account, and a linked game account cannot replace its address through the normal connection flow.
Before your first connection, check that you control the intended wallet, can restore it using your own backup, and have selected the correct address. Disconnecting a wallet session does not erase or replace the account’s linked address.
Prepare BNB Smart Chain
- Install your chosen wallet from its official website or official app store listing.
- Create a wallet or restore your existing wallet inside the wallet app. Keep its recovery information private.
- Select BNB Smart Chain Mainnet in the wallet. If it is missing, add it through your wallet’s network settings.

Use the official BNB Chain wallet configuration for the current RPC settings. Testnet and Mainnet are different networks; test tokens do not replace Mainnet assets.
Connect from the game
- Open the wallet connection control in the game’s header, shown with a fox icon when available.
- Choose the connection method offered by your app.
- For QR Login, open the wallet on your other device and scan the QR code shown by the game. For APP LOAD / direct connection, open the offered wallet app and continue there.
- Review the connection request in the wallet. Check the address and network before approving.
- Return to EXTOCIUM and confirm that the connected address matches the address linked to your game account.
Available buttons and wallet screens can vary by platform and app version. Follow the current connection panel rather than relying on the position of a button in an older screenshot.
Check the connection before using NFTs
Open the wallet panel to check the connected address and transaction history. A wallet session may expire, so you may need to reconnect the same linked address before an NFT operation.
Approving a connection and approving a transaction are different actions. Read each wallet request before confirming it. Connection alone does not remove Rookie Lock or satisfy every trading and swap requirement.

Verify an asset or transaction
Use BscScan to inspect public BNB Smart Chain records. Check the transaction hash for its result, the wallet address for its owner, and the contract address for the source of the asset.
A familiar name or icon alone does not establish that a token or NFT is official. Reach the official EXTOCIUM NFT Hub through the official website and compare the asset information before using an external listing.
The blockchain records ownership while the game handles gameplay and displays its own asset records. A completed blockchain operation may therefore appear in the game later. Use the wallet troubleshooting guide if those records do not match.
