Hero Rental
Hero Rental lets you play with a hero even if you do not own an NFT. Rent a hero with Gems, or rent out your own NFT Hero and receive XTO.
Rentals cannot be ended early, and Gems are never refunded. Check the price and period before you rent.

How to open Hero Rental
- Open the Dashboard with the helmet icon and tap Shop.
- Tap Hero Rental.
There are two tabs:
- Hero: heroes you can rent. Sort them by price or date, or filter by hero, skill, level and stats.
- My List: heroes you have put up for rent.

Rent a hero
- On the Hero tab, tap the hero you want.
- Check the price and period, then tap Rent.
- Read the notice and tap Yes.
- You pay in Gems. The price is for the whole period, paid once when you rent.
- Prices range from 100 to 10,000 Gems, and periods from 1 to 4 weeks. The hero’s owner sets both.
- You do not need an NFT, a wallet or a minimum TP to rent.
- When you rent a hero, its Daily Energy is refilled.
The rented hero appears in your Hero List with the time left and On Loan….
What a rented hero can and cannot do
A rented hero can do all activities except growth.

A rented hero does not count as owning an NFT Hero. To swap Gold and XTO, you need your own NFT Hero. See XTO Swap.
When a rental ends
- A rental ends exactly at the end of its period, counted from the moment you rented.
- You cannot return a hero early.
- The hero leaves your account when the rental ends. EXP and levels gained stay with the hero and go back to its owner.
Do not lose too much EXP. If the rented hero’s EXP drops by 10% or more because of deaths, the rental is cancelled right away. You see “Hero rental has been stopped due to experience reduction.” Gems are not refunded. EXP you gain while hunting gives you more room.
Rent out your NFT Hero
You can put your own NFT Hero up for rent and receive XTO.
What you need
- An NFT Hero that is not equipped and not listed in the Market or for rent. Soul heroes and Trial Heroes cannot be rented out.
- A connected wallet. See Wallet setup.
- 300 TP or more, and your Rookie Lock released. See Rookie Lock.
- 1 Mercenary certificate for each listing. Buy it in the Item Shop’s X Point tab. See Item Shop.
How to rent out
- Open the Equipment Bag on the Dashboard and select your NFT Hero.
- Tap Rent Out.
- In Register for Rent, set the rental period (1 to 4 weeks) and the price in Gems.
- Tap Register, confirm, and approve the request in your wallet.
- Check your listing on the My List tab.
Check your Arena trophies. If this hero is your highest-level hero and listing it lowers your Arena grade, you lose 30% of your trophies. The game warns you before you register.
What you receive
- You receive 40% of the rental price, paid in XTO. The store takes 30% and the developer takes 30%.
- The exact amount is shown as Expected settlement amount in Register for Rent. For example, a price of 100 Gems currently gives 4 XTO.
- The XTO is sent to your mailbox when the rental ends, including when it ends early because of EXP loss.
- Your hero comes back in a Return Hero mail.
Claim the Return Hero mail within 48 hours. Check your mailbox when the rental period is over.
Cancel a listing
- You can cancel only before anyone rents your hero. Once it is rented, the listing cannot be cancelled.
- Open My List or the hero window and tap Cancel Rental.
- The hero comes back to you by mail. The Mercenary certificate is not returned, and you receive no XTO.
When something looks wrong
