Vault of Time Guide: Keys, 6-Hour Timer and Drops

What the Vault of Time stores

When you pick up gold or items dropped by monsters and bosses in hunting fields, everything goes into your inventory as usual.

A portion of the gold and items you get from PvE activities is automatically stored in your Vault of Time. Nothing is taken out of your inventory.

Hunting loot only. Quest rewards, events, mail and the Shop do not add to the Vault.
Not every item. Only some items can be stored in the Vault.
Not every field. Some fields do not add to the Vault.
One Vault per account. Switching heroes does not change it.

How to check your Vault

Tap the yellow lock icon to the left of the minimap at the top right of the screen.
The Lucky Pass screen opens first. Tap the Vault of Time tab next to it.
You can see the gold and items stored in your Vault, and how much time is left.

The 6-hour timer

The timer starts when the first loot enters an empty Vault. You have 6 hours to open it.

If you…	What happens
Open it within 6 hours	You receive everything stored in it
Do not open it in time	Everything stored is lost and cannot be recovered. Your keys stay.

After the Vault is opened or expires, the next Vault starts again from zero.

The Vault can hold up to 100 different items. The same item counts as one, and gold does not count. When it is full, new items are no longer added.

Earn Keys of Time from the Wizard Challenge

You need 10 Keys of Time to open the Vault. Keys come only from the Wizard Challenge.

Tap the scroll icon with a star, to the right of your HP and MP bars.
Choose the Challenge tab in the middle.
Complete a challenge and claim its Key of Time.

Each completed challenge gives 1 key.
Challenges reset every day. Keys you already have are kept.
You can hold up to 10 keys. Open the Vault to use them before you claim more.

Open the Vault and claim your loot

When you have 10 keys, tap the key button at the bottom of the Vault of Time tab. Opening it uses 10 keys.

Everything in the Vault is sent to your mailbox, not straight to your inventory.
Claim it from the mailbox within 48 hours.

Check the Vault before you open it. Opening an empty Vault still uses 10 keys.

What can drop when you die

None	Nothing in your Vault drops
1 or higher	Gold and items in your Vault can drop, whether a player or a monster defeats you. 25% of the dropped gold disappears. Only the rest can be picked up.

Items that cannot be traded never drop from the Vault.
If you pick up your own dropped Vault loot, it goes back into your Vault.
If another player picks it up, it goes into that player’s inventory.

When something looks wrong

What you see	What to check
Loot did not go into the Vault	The bonus copy does not happen every time, and not every item or field adds to the Vault. Your inventory still has everything you picked up.
The Vault is suddenly empty	The 6-hour timer may have run out
I opened the Vault but got nothing in my inventory	Check your mailbox. Vault loot is sent by mail.
I cannot open the Vault	You need 10 Keys of Time
I cannot claim a new key	You already hold the maximum of 10 keys
